MIDCOM Service - Two-way Radio Sales and Service

UHF Conventional Repeater Service

Conventional UHF/ VHF Repeaters have provided the backbone for private two-way radio systems over the past 50 plus years.

TK series repeater

In 1982, MIDCOM Service constructed the first UHF Community Repeater located within the City of Muskegon. Through the years, our repeater systems have grown to serve countless business and public safety applications. As our private wireless repeater systems grew, MIDCOM constructed the first UHF community repeater systems in the Grand Haven area as well.

Currently, most UHF/ VHF repeater systems are designed to meet the specific private wireless needs of a large business user or local government agency. In Muskegon, the Muskegon Area Transit System (MATS) used a private E.F. Johnson 800 MHz repeater system to coordinate mass transit bus service throughout Muskegon County for nearly 30 years. In Ottawa County, two private 800 MHz E.F. Johnson repeaters provided service to the original Mobile Data (MDT) system for Ottawa County 911. That Ottawa County MDT system was the first of its kind in the Western Michigan area. Virtually every public school system in Muskegon County and the Tri-Cities area relies on UHF two-way radio systems provided by MIDCOM to coordinate the operations of their school bus fleets.

Over the past 43 years, MIDCOM Service has been a leader in custom designed UHF/ VHF/ 800 MHz private wireless repeater systems serving large users in Muskegon, Ottawa and Oceana counties. We have expanded our product offerings and now have Kenwood NEXEDGE Digital repeater systems as well. Call us! Let us help provide solutions to your wireless communications system needs.
